A master’s degree in the field or related fields accepted by Senate;

Other qualifications equivalent to a master’s degree recognised by the Senate;or
Master’s candidates possessing a Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA 3.30 and above may apply for conversion to the Doctor of Philosophy Programme subject to terms;
or
Candidates possessing a Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA 3.70 and above may apply for direct admission to the Doctor of Philosophy Programme subject to terms.
For PhD in Arts, the additional admission requirement are:
